Welcome to Fombe. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Fombe website at fombe.com and the book- and audiobook-creation services we provide ("Services"). By purchasing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
Fombe is an AI-assisted writing studio. We create written books and, depending on your package, audiobooks and cover designs, based on the concept and information you provide through our questionnaire. Our team reviews and guides production. Typical delivery is 2–5 business days depending on the package, beginning once your questionnaire is complete.
You retain ownership of the story, ideas, and materials you provide. Upon full payment, you receive ownership of the final delivered work (book, audiobook, and cover files) for your personal and commercial use. You are responsible for ensuring the materials you provide do not infringe the rights of others.
You agree not to use Fombe to create content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, hateful, or that depicts or exploits minors, or that violates the rights or privacy of any person. We may decline or halt any project that, in our judgment, violates these Terms, and may refund accordingly.
Fombe creates books and, where applicable, audiobooks, cover designs, and images using artificial intelligence ("AI"), guided and reviewed by our team. You acknowledge that the work delivered to you is created with the assistance of AI.
Many publishing platforms, retailers, and distributors (for example, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing) require authors to declare AI-generated or AI-assisted content when a title is uploaded or distributed, and these requirements change over time. Where required, you must always declare that portions of the book and/or associated images were created using AI. You are solely responsible for reviewing and complying with the AI-disclosure and content policies of any platform on which you publish, sell, or distribute the work, and for making any required declarations accurately. Fombe is not responsible for any consequence arising from your failure to make a required disclosure.
Prices are listed on our site and charged at checkout via Stripe. All amounts are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Payment is due in full before production begins.
Each package includes a stated number of revision passes to align the work with your direction. Delivery timelines are estimates made in good faith and begin when we receive your completed questionnaire. Files are delivered to your private Fombe client portal.
Because production begins quickly and is substantially custom, refunds are handled case by case. If you are unsatisfied, contact us at hello@fombe.com and we will work with you in good faith. Once a final book or audiobook has been delivered and accepted, the sale is generally final.
Services are provided "as is." Fombe does not guarantee commercial success, publication acceptance, or specific outcomes from any book. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fombe's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable order.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
