Information we collect

Account & contact details — your name and email when you start a book or create an account.
Story questionnaire — the concept, premise, characters, tone, and other details you provide so we can create your book.
Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
Usage data — basic technical information (e.g. pages visited) to operate and improve the site.

How we use it

To create, revise, and deliver your book and audiobook.
To create and manage your client account and portal access.
To communicate with you about your order and account.
To process payments and prevent fraud.
To operate, secure, and improve our Services.

AI processing

Fombe uses AI systems to help create your book. The materials you submit are used to generate your work. We do not sell your personal information, and we take steps to limit what is shared with any processing provider to what is needed to deliver your order.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run Fombe — for example payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, hosting, and AI processing — under agreements that protect your data. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

We keep your account and order information for as long as needed to provide the Services and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data (see below), subject to records we must retain.

Opt out of non-essential email at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
